We’re Carmelo and Chiara, and Bar Etna is our home away from home. We wanted to create a place that feels like Sicily; intimate, warm, and welcoming to everyone. We’re a family-run space where you can relax, the kids can play, and everyone feels like they belong.
We’re so glad you’re here. We were both raised in Sicily and we came to Altrincham to share authentic Sicilian recipes, warm hospitality, and a little piece of our home with you.
Restaurant & Deli
We’re not just a trattoria, we’re a proper Sicilian deli too. Browse our counter for imported cured meats, regional cheeses, specialty ingredients, and exclusively Sicilian wines to take home. Come for dinner, stay to shop, or pop in just for a coffee and a browse.
Families are welcome here
One of the things we’re most proud of is our dedicated children’s play area. We know how hard it is to find restaurants where you can truly relax with little ones, so we’ve created a space where kids can be kids while parents enjoy their meal. High chairs, space for prams, and a laid-back atmosphere where no one minds if pasta gets slurped a bit too enthusiastically.
